Yes Tyres Warranty Policy
Every YES Tyre designed and manufactured by Parbati Tyres & Tubes Pvt Ltd comes with a warranty that guarantees their quality and workmanship against manufacturing defects arising out of any deficiency in design, Manufacturing, materials or workmanship. Learn more about our warranty below.
Warranty statement
- Every effort is made by the company to secure the highest possible standard of excellence of both material and workmanship. When a tyre becomes unserviceable due to a condition within the term of warranty, the customer must immediately notify to authorize dealer by producing the purchase invoice to establish such a claim. The company will not be liable for any claim whether arising in contact or in tort for any injury, loss or damage caused to any person or property by or arising out of the use of any company product.
- Without prejudice to the above paragraph Yes Brand tyres and tubes are warranted against manufacturing defects arising out of any deficiency in design, manufacturing, material or workmanship. Tyres accepted under warranty claims will be replaced on Warranty claim findings made by Parbati Tyres technical service personnel.
- Warranty applicable for tyre with tread wear up to Tread Wear Indicators (TWI).
- Warranty entitlement period as well as the tyre worn up to Tread Wear Indicator (TWI) will be as specified by the company at time to time .
- Tyre Warranty is applicable to the first owner of the product.
- Tyre adjusted under this warranty program shall be adjusted on pro rata basis wherein amount to be compensated shall be calculated based on remaining tread depth measurement. This tread wear coverage is for a specified mileage or time and the credit is based on the percentage of remaining tread depth compared to original tread wear depth before delivering the warranted mileage.
- At the time of sale, the selling dealer, are required to complete the Original Owner’s Tire Installation Information such as vehicle Model, tire information, and the date of installation.
- This warranty is only applicable in India
- The company reserves the right to change or modify the terms and conditions of aforesaid warranty policy without having any obligation or notice.
TYRE WARRANTY PERIODS
TRUCK & BUS (BIAS / RADIAL)
3 years from the date of manufacture or from the date of invoice (Proof of purchase is required) or till the tyre tread is worn up to Tread Wear Indicators(TWI) whichever is earlier irrespective of kilometer covered for manufacturing defects.
SCV & LCV (BIAS / RADIAL)
3 years from the date of manufacture or from the date of invoice (Proof of purchase is required) or till the tyre tread is worn up to Tread Wear Indicators(TWI) whichever is earlier irrespective of kilometer covered for manufacturing defects.
CAR (BIAS & RADIAL)
5 years from the date of manufacture or from the date of invoice (Proof of purchase is required) or till the tyre tread is worn up to Tread Wear Indicators(TWI) whichever is earlier irrespective of kilometer covered for manufacturing defects.
2 & 3 WHEELER
5 years from the date of manufacture or from the date of invoice (Proof of purchase is required) or till the tyre tread is worn up to Tread Wear Indicators(TWI) whichever is earlier irrespective of kilometer covered for manufacturing defects.
FARM
5 years from month of production for front tyres and 5 years from date of invoice for rear tyres for manufacturing defects.
OTR & MINING
5 years from the date of manufacture or from the date of invoice (Proof of purchase is required) or till the tyre tread is worn up to 3 MM remaining Non Skid Depth whichever is earlier irrespective of hours/ kilometers covered for manufacturing defects.
ALL TUBES
2 years from month of Manufacture irrespective of kilometers covered for manufacturing defects.
Conditions – Not entitled for warranty
- Tyres worn beyond Tread Wear Indicator
- Tyres with road hazard damages (through cuts, external injuries, impact break, punctures, repairable or not repairable)
- Damages on account of incorrect mounting / demounting, improper wheel alignment and balancing.
- Tyre damage due to vehicle mechanical irregularities.
- Tyres fitted with vehicles carrying of overload, running with high speeds or tyres with under inflation/over inflation.
- Tyres which have not been fitted in accordance with the technical recommendations of the company as published from time to time or recommended care and maintenance.
- Tyres damage on account of accident, fire, chemical explosion, tyre alteration or vandalism.
- Tyres with Ply/Cords exposed, repaired or retreaded.
- Tyres with severe uneven wear/ misalignment (MAL) wear.
- Tyre defects due to climatic conditions, ozone and improper storage.
- Tyres purchased from unauthorized or second hand dealers.
- Warranty is limited only for manufacturing defects as stated in warranty statement.
Clam Adjustment Procedure
- For any considerable Claimed tyres as per our warranty policy shall be physically submitted to the company’s Sales Office along with copy of Purchase Invoice issued to the claimant, Original Owner/ Tyre Installation Information form & Claim Adjustment Application Form (format no.PT/ /CA - 01 ) duly filled up with all the information pertaining to Tyre size/pattern, NSD, Tyre Serial No.& Defect duly stamped by Company’s authorized dealer to proceed for the inspection process.
- Tyres rejected for any claim as per warranty program remain the property of the consumer & Parbati Tyre shall not be liable for loss or damage to the same. No warranty claim will be entertained or accepted without relevant document. Certain conditions and limitations apply. The limited warranty for tread wear is subject to all conditions and limitations, including maintenance requirements and Safety warnings as mentioned in Warranty Statement.
- Warranty claims will be routed through OEM/OEM's Dealer; Yes Tyres authorized dealers to the nearest Yes Tyres Sales office with a duly filled claim adjustment form supported with original tyre owner information form (PT/CA-02).
- Tyre/tube under complaint will be examined by Service personnel or Parbati Tyres authorized personnel and the decision will be taken after inspection.
- Warranty claim findings made by Parbati Tyres service personnel or trained authorized personnel would be binding.
Disclaimer
- Warranty does not provide compensation for any direct or indirect losses, damages incurred on account of tyre failure or any expenses towards tyre mounting demounting, alignment, balancing etc.
- This warranty is only for the product under complaint and if the tyre is accepted under warranty the companion tyre or the other vehicles components will not be considered for warranty.
